WHY BECOME A SAVE THE BAY 50th SWIM SPONSOR

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Swim—our signature event and largest annual fundraiser. Since 1977, athletes and advocates have taken on a two-mile open-water swim across Narragansett Bay’s East Passage, raising critical funds and awareness for Save The Bay’s mission to protect and improve the Bay.

Thanks to support from partners like you, this past year we:

  • Offered 26 public summer camps for 576 campers from kindergarten through high school
  • Educated over 75,000 visitors at the Hamilton Family Aquarium in its inaugural year.
  • Responded to climate pressures by launching multiple habitat-resilience projects with Rhode Island municipalities, including planting 67,000+ beach grass plants in Westerly, Narragansett, Newport, Middletown, Warwick, Cranston, and Tiverton.

Your support directly strengthens our ability to protect and improve Narragansett Bay for future generations. We truly rely on community partners like you—and your help makes all the difference.
