My name is Norah and I am a 15 year old swimmer from California. I have always loved swimming from when I started on a swim team in first grade however swimming with my grandpa in the summers has always been special to me. He taught me to snorkel and not be scared of seaweed or diving down to the bottom. 

Last summer while in Connecticut, I watched a movie about a long distance ocean swim and that got me thinking about possibly doing one in the future. My grandpa, Tito, and I have been training together and are very exited to make lots of memories and challenge ourselves with this 2 mile open ocean swim on July 19th. 

We hope to raise as much money as we can through this swim to support the great work of Save the Bay, a non-profit that protects and improves the Narragansett Bay.
