On 8Aug2026 I will participate in Save the Bay's 2 mile swim across Narragansett Bay along the majestic Newport (Pell) Bridge from the US Naval Base in Newport to Potter's Cove in Jamestown. Save the Bay is a fantastic organization focused on advocacy, education and habitat restoration to keep our lovely waters healthy. This year I join Team "Friends of Jonathan Cooper" in memory of our dear swim friend and champion, Jon, who died suddenly earlier this year. Jon is loved and missed by our entire ocean swim group and many others.
