This swim is dedicated to the memory of Jonathan Cooper - a uniquely irreplaceable member of the Rhode Island swim community and Mackerel Cove swim family.

This summer, a large group of us are swimming Save the Bay in his honor and to celebrate his memory. 

All fundraising contributions to members of our team, “Friends of Jonathan Cooper,” help support the bay that he loved.

As Jonathan would say every time our group recollected, treading water and chatting in the waves before swimming across Mackerel Cove, “Shall we swim?”
