Sheila's Save The Bay Fundraiser
On Saturday, August 8, 2026, I will be participating in my second Save The Bay 2-mile swim, raising funds to support a clean and healthy Narragansett Bay. As a regular swimmer in the saltwater between Jamestown and Newport, Rhode Island, I care deeply about protecting the ocean and preserving this incredible resource.
I’m working toward a fundraising goal of $500, and any support from friends and family would mean a lot. Whether you’re able to give $5 or $500, every contribution makes a real difference. Please consider joining me in supporting this important cause.
Save The Bay is an independent, member-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and improving Narragansett Bay. Founded in 1970 by a group of concerned citizens, the organization has long served as the Bay’s eyes, ears, and voice. Today, its work focuses on advocacy, education, and habitat restoration, all in pursuit of a vision for a Bay that is fishable, swimmable, and accessible to all.
